I’ve made a new design for a CMG project dedicated to brand new light duty detergent “Dreft” (P&G) , and now this website is in the short list of the San Francisco flash forward film festival 2008, in the motion graphic section. I want to congratulate my friend Vitaliy (flash ninja kung-fu master and druid), that made flash animation for this web site :).

Btw, here the page where you can vote for the flash work you like. Maybe your voice will help this work win people’s choice award.

I was at 3rd Annual ceremony “Russian Flash Awards 2008” in Moscow 10th of June.

Awards was given by nine nominations: Art, Commercial, Animation, Cartoons, Technical achievements, Video, 3d, Game, Air/Flex.

Ceremony founder is Sergio Diflux

Judges of RFA was Adobe CiS CEO, famous russian flash developers and creative directors of leading russian agencies.

Winner was defined by secret vote for works that previously get in short list by preselection (short list consist of around 40 works ).

Web site for light duty deterget Dreft, that we (Vitaliy and me) made with Convergent Media Group won RFA in Commercial nomination :) We won funny figurne, three certificates, adobe t-shirt and some stuff from sponsors.

Ceremony held in informal and space atmosphere, you can check some photos below.

General aim of the website was to reflect Delicate Clothes perspective into washing detergents: show negative effect of universal detergents and DREFT as clothes protector.

Once the site loaded starts game, where visitor lies ahead to safe clothes with the power of Dreft from the universal detergent.

After trying himself as clothes protector visitor can find out more about clothes hard days trought fun interactive shorts set which shows 3 main clothes life periods such as wardrobe, laundry and wearing.

Also site has an intro that gives better view about Dreft.

Overall site designed in glaring, positive style but with some dramatic and ironic faint notes.

For example, first island represents id section of site. It’s separated on 2 parts, where the animals is located (that’s embody the id). From one side you can see ugly, awful and invalid animals on barren land and from the other side beautiful and healthy at the green fields.
